IS_ROUND_TRIP_JOB | Root | Displays true if the job is a round trip. A transporter might take a patient to a destination and then be asked to wait there briefly and then take the patient back. (For example, if a patient is having a test that takes five minutes, the lab technician might ask the transporter to wait during the test.) However, because of dispatching rules, if a new pending job is created, a different transporter might be assigned to take the patient back. If transporters who are asked to wait and take patients back have the Round Trips permission (assigned in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component), then they can sign in to the IVR and enter a Round Trip option to assign themselves to take the patient back when the patient is ready. This will allow that transporter to return the patient to the origin location. When the code is entered, the original job is completed and a second job (to return the patient) is immediately created and assigned to the employee, in a status of Dispatched. |
