Single Sign-On


Definition

Authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using just one set of credentials.

If the single sign-on feature is enabled and configured, users can start Capacity IQ® using the Microsoft Windows Active Directory user names and passwords that they use to sign in to their workstations.


Scope

In a fully configured single sign-on environment, users do not have to enter their user names and passwords to start the application.
