Info

About

  • Users who are supervisors can be assigned a level when their user information is entered into the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component.

  • When alerts are configured in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management, the administrator selects the levels that receive alerts for each status.

  • Any combination of levels can receive alerts for a single status.

    • For example, the Alert Escalation Level for a status can be set so that only supervisors at levels 2 and 4 receive alerts.

How

  • In the Alert Escalation Level column on the Capacity IQ® EVS or Capacity IQ® Transport tab on the Alert Settings page, click the gray buttons for each level that should receive an alert for a status.

    • For example, if supervisors who are at level 2 and 4 should receive alerts when a job is in the In Progress status for a certain period of time, then click the gray 2 and 4 buttons.

  • If certain levels should not receive alerts about a status, then make sure that they are gray (if a level has a green background, click it to make it gray).
