New
Patient Placement Specialist (View Only) Mode
Idea
We heard from organizations that certain teams, such as the Emergency Department (ED) and the Patient Access Team, needed access to case data for visibility without editing capabilities. These teams needed to see details like Case Notes and other fields without the ability to make changes, ensuring data integrity while maintaining necessary access.
Solution
[TTP-471] View Only Mode is now available. This is enabled by assigning the Patient Placement (View Only) Role to users. This role allows users to view cases and the case list but restricts them from making edits.
Key features of this update include:
Users can view cases on the Case List without edit permissions.
The Edit icon and row click actions are disabled.
In View Only mode, the "Edit Case" button is hidden.
The "Start New Case" button is hidden.
Users can view referrals.
In the Referrals tab, the action button column is hidden.
Note: If a user is assigned both the standard "Patient Placement Specialist" and the "View Only" role, they will still be able to edit cases. These roles should not be assigned to the same user at the same time. It can be combined with roles from other products, such as “External Care Provider”.
