Understanding TCIQ Dictionary Workflow

We’ll review the list of available Dictionary items used by Transfer IQ® This is generally adjusted by Administrators or Directors of specific departments.


Steps

Not all of the dictionary items are available to be changed within the Admin component if your system integrates with Capacity IQ® or Capacity Management Suite®. If unable to edit an item, see Updating a Dictionary Item

  • Allergy - Allergen related to reaction.

  • Assessment Type - Type of behavioral health assessment.

  • Bed Location - Unit which bed is located.

  • Case Type - Description of type of transfer case.

  • Delay Reason - Reason for assessment delay.

  • Diagnosis - Identity of the nature and cause of the patients disease or injury.

  • Disposition - Transferring patients location or status.

  • Disposition Reason - Reason patient is assigned to a disposition.

  • Escalation Role - Role to whom a decision/problem was raised to.

  • External Unit - Units that are not in your health system.

  • Facility - Entity for medical care to patients.

  • Facility Category - Grouping of facilities having common characteristics.

  • Isolation - Type of isolation that is relevant to patients condition.

  • Level of Care - Degree of care that the patient requires.

  • Medical Alert - Emergency conditions of patient that staff may be alerted to.

  • Medication - Medicine/drug used for treatment.

  • Mode of Contact - The Method that the physician, facility, or escalation was contacted.

  • Organism - Name of organism association with a patient isolation type.

  • Patient Code Status - Codes indicating patient wishes or other status.

  • Patient Type - A categorization of the patient to determine resources that the patient needs.

  • Payor (US only) - Insurance carrier who takes responsibility for care.

  • Payor Category (US only) - Grouping of insurance carriers.

  • Physician - Physician who can be associated to refer patients or used as targeted physicians.

  • Position - Job title of staff members.

  • Service Line - Medical specialties that a physician practices.

  • Specialty - Area of expertise that a physician practices within a service line.

  • Staff - Staff members who are qualified to perform behavioral health assessments and not included in NPI.

  • Tag - Category for labeling case notes.

  • Transfer Reason - Reason a patient would need to be transferred from one facility to another.

  • Transport Arrangements - Person or Company coordinating transportation for the patient.

  • Transport Company - Vendor providing transportation.

  • Transport Mode - Way that patient is being transported.

  • Treatment - Actions taken to relieve or manage patients symptoms, disease, or condition.

  • Unit - Division of a facility.
