About

We’ll review how to Change Console Settings. This will cover how to adjust the view in different applications within Capacity Management Suite. Generally this would be used by an Application Administrator or Managerial Role.

Steps

There’s various different settings for each application. We’ll cover where to go in each of them.

Capacity IQ® EVS and Capacity IQ® Transport

Changing BedTracking Console Settings

  • Click Console Settings

  • You can Enable/Disable these under the Visible column.

Capacity IQ® PreAdmit + PatientT racking Portal

These settings adjust options for the list views, the projected census, and the electronic bedboard views.

  • Click Console Settings

  • You can Enable/Disable settings under the Visible column.

  • In the View Section you have a few additional options:

    • Use up and down arrows to reorder the views.

    • Edit the Name of the views using the free text field.

PatientTracking Portal Specific

Specific settings for Portal require a dropdown. You can click and select an option for either of the following settings:

  • Bed/Patient Row Text Size

  • Projected Discharge Date Display

Best Practices

Remember that any changes you make are temporary until you save the console via Load/Save Console. When you save any console setting you’ll be reminded of this.
