Patients with the same last name
When manually entering a patient into Patient Tracking Portal, you will get a pop-up to alert you that the patient’s last name conflicts with other patients in the unit after you hit save.
You are still able to continue PreAdmitting the patient.
Remember, the preadmit patients will show under Capacity IQ® PreAdmit, and not Patient Tracking (unless you perform a patient search in Patient Tracking).
Once the patient is admitted, they will show in Patient Tracking
