In Referral IQ® you can withdraw some referrals but not others.
Solution
There are 2 reasons you may be unable to withdraw a case:
You are in edit mode. In order to withdraw a case, you must be in view mode for the option to appear.
The Transfer Case status has been changed from Submitted to In Progress. This means the Transfer Center Agent has already acknowledged the case and has started to work on it.
b. When the Transfer Case has moved to an In Progress state (as shown below) you will notice you are no longer able to enter the case in edit mode and, therefore, unable to make any edits to the case including withdrawing a referral. Any changes to the referral submission must be called into the Transfer Center for the health system in which you are submitting the request.
