Staffed bed

Definition

A bed is considered a staffed bed if there are enough nursing staff members on duty during a given shift to care for a patient in that bed (avoid assignment of beds in wards that do not have enough staff members on duty to care for patients).

  • For each unit, the administrator can set a number of "staffed" beds per shift.
