Definition

The method of taking the patient's body temperature, such as Axillary, Oral, Ear, Tympanic membrane, Temporal artery (forehead), Rectal, Urinary bladder, Nasal, Nasopharyngeal, Finger, or Other.

  • If you select the Other option, you can type the name of the as a note in the Case Log.


Scope

Users can capture the methods by which a parent’s temperature was taken in the Clinical section of a transfer case’s Patient tab.
