Moving an already existing location - Capacity IQ®

About

Existing locations can be moved with minimal effort within Capacity IQ®.

  1. Once you have the existing unit/locations, and have the new unit/location identified.

    1. Start by Clicking on Admin Tool

2. Search for the existing unit. (In this case, it is the Emergency Dept)

3. The case of this example the client wanted to move the virtual rooms. (They are indicated with the V) Select the radio button next to the locations that you want to change.

4. Click on Edit Selected Locations

5. Click on the radio buttons for:

a. Physical Structure - Unit - Select the new unit from the drop-down. In this case, it is ED Virtual Unit

b. Physical Structure - Room - Select the new room from the drop-down. In this case, it is ED Virtual

c. Cost Center - Select the cost center from the drop-down. In this case, it is staying SHCC Emergency Department.

NOTE: select any additional radio buttons that might apply for the new locations.

6. Navigate back to Units and select the new unit (in this case ED Virtual Unit) and you should see the newly moved locations.
