A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used for secure access within the Capacity IQ®™ solution.

  • Who: Users of the Capacity IQ® and ward staff members using the Patient Tracking Portal.

  • Why: To ensure secure access to the IVR system and the interactive wall display.

  • When: When entering, changing, or accepting assignments via the IVR system, and when signing in to the wall display.

Where you can find this feature: Within the Capacity IQ® solution and the Patient Tracking Portal application.

How PIN Works

Functionality

  • IVR System Access: Users must enter their PINs along with their IVR user IDs on a telephone to access the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

  • PatientTracking Portal Access: If the "PIN Required" setting is enabled, ward staff members must use their PINs with their IVR ID numbers to sign in to the interactive wall display.
