Interactive Voice Response System (IVR)
Definition
Telephone system that users sign in and out of for the work day.
It allows users with the appropriate permissions to accept, change the status of, or update certain aspects of transport and bed cleaning jobs and indicate job assignments.
Scope
Capacity IQ® PreAdmit application application users with the appropriate permissions can use the IVR to change a patient’s status to Pending Transfer, Pending Discharge, or Confirmed Discharge or to cancel a patient’s pending or confirmed discharge or pending transfer status.
