Interactive Voice Response System (IVR)


Definition

  • Telephone system that users sign in and out of for the work day.

  • It allows users with the appropriate permissions to accept, change the status of, or update certain aspects of transport and bed cleaning jobs and indicate job assignments.


Scope

  • Capacity IQ® PreAdmit application application users with the appropriate permissions can use the IVR to change a patient’s status to Pending Transfer, Pending Discharge, or Confirmed Discharge or to cancel a patient’s pending or confirmed discharge or pending transfer status.
