Introduction
There are some Capacity IQ® EVS®, Capacity IQ® PreAdmit application, and Capacity IQ® Transport application permissions that work together. In some cases, users are required to have an additional permission to access the functions related to another permission.
Example
In the Capacity IQ® EVS application, a requester who has the Change Bed Size permission must have the Requester Workflow permission. This will allow them to access the IVR menu associated with the Change Bed Size function.
Admin Tool Dependencies
The Admin Tool menu or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management provides access to all features in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component. It also provides access to the Request RAC Code feature, which is not a part of the Admin Group permissions
The Admin Tool Menu permission is required to access any feature in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management Menu. However, this permission is NOT required to access the Request RAC Code feature.
Keep this in mind when reviewing permissions for users that need anything within the Admin Tool Menu. They will need the the Admin Tool Menu permission enabled in the Admin Group associated with their role.
Example
Users who need to edit bed sizes in the Dictionary Management section of the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component must have the Bed Sizes administrative permission AND the Admin Tool Menu permission.
