Conversation transcripts can easily be downloaded for sharing or record keeping purposes.
At the top of the chat window, click on the name of the Client Support Engineer that helped you. Or, in some cases, if the chat didn’t route to a human, click on the TeleBot Avatar.
Click on the download button.
The chat will download, and in most cases show at the bottom of your internet browser.
Once you click the download button, the conversation transcript will download as a .txt file.
Note: Conversation transcripts are only available on desktop in the Messenger.
What’s included in the transcript?
All replies in the conversation
The timestamps of every reply
The date and time the conversation was created (in your workspace’s time zone)
Operator’s replies
The customer and teammate’s names
The date and time the conversation was downloaded
What’s not included?
The different states of the conversations (snoozed, unsnoozed, closed)
Seen/unseen notes
Internal notes
How and when the conversation was assigned
CC/BCC
Images
Attachments
GIFs
Articles
Apps
Images, attachment, GIFs, articles and apps will be labelled as text in the file, like [GIF] and [Article - article name], for example.
