Move a case from completed to open again.

If a case was completed prematurely, accidentally, or needs to be updated, follow these steps to reopen a case.


Steps

  1. Go to Access > Transfers and select the Completed button.

  2. Select the name of the patient whose case you want to reopen to display the <Patient Name> edit page.

  3. Select the arrow next to Save and select Reopen Case from the list that appears.

  4. The case becomes active and appears on the Cases list depending on the ETA:

    1. If the case's ETA is the current or a past date, the case appears on the Active filter.

    2. If the case's ETA is a future date, the case appears on the Upcoming filter.


Best Practices

Confirm you are reopening the correct case.
