About
The Capacity IQ® solution contains multiple applications that can perform different functions. For example the Capacity IQ® Transport application handles functions related to moving patients or items from one location to another. The Capacity IQ® EVS application handles functions related to cleaning beds, and the Capacity IQ® PreAdmit application application handles functions related to patient placement. The Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component is for setting up users, permissions, data, and parameters so that other applications can function appropriately. The Standard Reports or Clinical Operations > CMS Reports or Care Support > CMS Reports component is for generating reports about employees, jobs, and patients as well as master reports that list information such as users, locations, and paging devices. Depending on your permissions, you may have access to all or just some of the applications.
You can access the applications that you have permission to use from My Home Page or from the menus at the top of the page.
How
Basics
Option 1 - On My Home Page, click the icon for the application.
Option 2 - To access a section of the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management (such as User Management), in the navigation bar go to Admin Tool or go to Admin > Settings > Capacity Management and then click the appropriate option name.
Note
Access to administrative functions is based on permissions. You will only be able to access sections that you have been granted permissions to use.
