The Capacity IQ® EVS idle sweep timer uses the Time interval between available sweeps (minutes) found under the Transport Tracking section of Master Configuration.

EVS Triggers

To notify the appropriate EVS employee for pending, not yet paged bed cleaning and spill cleaning jobs, the EVS Dispatch Processes has the following triggers:

Pre-Conditions:

  1. Create cleaning request

  2. Create spill request

  3. Status transition to dirty status

  4. Remove bed delay

  5. Remove bed block

  6. Bed cleaner log-off for the day

  7. BT Idle sweep timer windows service finding pending non paged Bed cleaning jobs and spill cleaning jobs

Explanation

The setting that controls the number of minutes the Idle sweep timer waits before running in Step 7 above is controlled by "The time interval between AVAILABLE sweeps (minutes)" setting found under the TransportTracking category of Master Configuration.
