Info

  • It's important to keep in mind that permissions granted to a mobile app can have a significant impact on the user's abilities within the app. Depending on the particular workflow or task at hand, certain permissions may need to be enabled or disabled in order to ensure the best user experience

  • This article will list permissions that can be used with the Capacity IQ® EVS Mobile. All permission definitions are from 2023.10 Help.

Permissions

Description

BT Employee Workflow

  • Users in groups with this permission can work on bed cleaning jobs. This permission only provides access to the Employee menu. To perform tasks using the menu, users must have the following permissions in addition to the Employee Workflow permission.

  • Could not log in to mobile without this as an EVS employee.

  • This Permission is required

Suspend a Bed Cleaning

  • Users in groups with this permission may temporarily stop a bed cleaning job that they are working on so that they may attend to more important work.

  • Needed in addition to Employee Workflow.

Reason Code Required to Suspend Bed Cleaning

  • Users in groups with this permission are required to select a reason code when they suspend a bed cleaning job on the mobile app (for example, Clean STAT Bed). Needed in addition to Employee Workflow, if reason codes are enabled.

Place Bed Cleaning In Progress

  • Users in groups with this permission may change a bed cleaning job's status to In Progress on the mobile app.

  • Includes the ability to complete EVS jobs

Delay A Bed Cleaning Job

  • On the mobile app, users in groups with this permission may delay a bed cleaning job (for example, because the patient is still in the room when the bed cleaner arrives). Needed in addition to Employee Workflow.

Reason Code Required to Delay Bed Cleaning

  • Users in groups with this permission are required to select a reason code when they delay a bed cleaning job on the mobile app (for example, Patient Still in Room).

Release Delayed Bed Cleaning

  • On the Capacity IQ® EVS console, and the EVS mobile app, users in groups with this permission may remove a Delayed status from a delayed bed cleaning job.

Cancel In Progress Bed Cleaning

  • On the Capacity IQ® EVS console, and the EVS mobile app, users in groups with this permission may cancel a bed cleaning job that they have already placed in the In Progress status.

Reason Code Required to Cancel In Progress Bed Cleaning

  • Users in groups with this permission are required to select a reason code when they cancel an in-progress bed cleaning job on the Capacity IQ® EVS console, and the EVS mobile app.

Second Stage Discharge Cleaning Workflow

  • Users in groups with this permission may receive notifications for Stage 2 (Udef9) cleaning jobs if the administrator has enabled the Multi-Stage Cleans option for the Capacity IQ® EVS application. When the patient is discharged, the bed automatically generates a stage 1 cleaning request. When the EVS employee puts the stage 1 cleaning request in progress, the system sends a logged-in employee who belongs to a group having the “Second Stage Discharge Cleaning Workflow” permission a message to alert them that a stage 2 cleaning request will be assigned to them soon.

Create Spill Request

  • If the Spill Clean global setting is enabled, then users with this permission can create requests to clean spills that are on or around clean, occupied, or blocked beds. This permission also allows users to change the spill types for existing spill-cleaning job requests.

Allow Found Bed

  • EVS employees and supervisors with this permission can enter a found bed cleaning job on the Capacity IQ® EVS Mobile app or place a bed that is occupied in the In Progress status.

Suspend a Bed Cleaning

  • On the Capacity IQ® EVS console, and the EVS mobile app, users in groups with this permission may temporarily stop a bed cleaning job that they are working on so that they may attend to more important work.

Cancel Spill Request

  • If the Spill Clean global setting is enabled, then users with this permission can cancel requests for spill-cleaning jobs that have not been started yet
