Info
Mini Tasks are non-transport tasks that transporters can perform.
Transporters who have the Task Tracking permission can track MiniTasks through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
The number of tasks, rather than the duration of each task, is tracked.
This allows supervisors to keep track of non-transport tasks that employees are doing outside of patient or item transport jobs.
You are unable to configure the application to make a transporter unavailable when assigned a mini-task .
Mini Tasks are assigned only when there are no other transport jobs available to be worked.
Mini Tasks should not take precedent over pending transport jobs.
The transporter will remain "available" while working Mini Tasks so that the transport jobs can be assigned out if needed during the task.
