Info

  • Mini Tasks are non-transport tasks that transporters can perform.

  • Transporters who have the Task Tracking permission can track MiniTasks through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

  • The number of tasks, rather than the duration of each task, is tracked.

    • This allows supervisors to keep track of non-transport tasks that employees are doing outside of patient or item transport jobs.

  • You are unable to configure the application to make a transporter unavailable when assigned a mini-task .

  • Mini Tasks are assigned only when there are no other transport jobs available to be worked.

    • Mini Tasks should not take precedent over pending transport jobs.

  • The transporter will remain "available" while working Mini Tasks so that the transport jobs can be assigned out if needed during the task.

Where to create a mini - task
