This article will walk you though how to uninstall an app and install an app on Android and IOS Devices.


Mobile Device Management (MDM)

If you do not see the app store on your Health System Devices it is possible that these are globally Management by your Help Desk. You may need to reach out to them to uninstall/reinstall as a troubleshooting step.


Android

Uninstall

  1. Open the Google Play Store app .

  2. At the top right, tap the Profile icon.

  3. Tap Manage apps & devices Manage.

  4. Select the name of the app you want to delete.

  5. Tap Uninstall.

Reinstall

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Google Play Store .

  2. On the right, tap the profile icon.

  3. Tap Manage apps & device Manage.

  4. Select the apps you want to install or turn on.

    • If you can't find the app, at the top, tap Installed -> Not installed.

  5. Tap Install or Enable.


IOS

Uninstall

If you touch and hold an app from the Home Screen and the apps start to jiggle:

  1. Tap the Remove icon in the upper-left corner of the app.

  2. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.

  3. Tap Done.

Reinstall

  1. Open the App Store app.

  2. Tap the sign-in button or your photo at the top of the screen.

  3. Tap Purchased.

  4. Tap "Not on this [device]."

  5. Find the app that you want to download, then tap the download button.
