Request to return a device

About

Location IQ®/ Location Tracking devices may malfunction and need to be returned. After proper troubleshooting you can review and provide the following information to TeleTracking Support to submit an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Request.


Steps

Information Needed

After troubleshooting the devices, gather and provide the following information for an RMA request, and open a ticket with TeleTracking® Support.

  1. Device Type

    1. Tag (Asset, Temp, Patient, or Staff)

    2. Star / Timing Star

    3. Monitor / Mini Monitor

    4. Virtual Divider

    5. Drop Box

    6. Dispenser Interface Module (DIM)

  2. Device IDs

  3. Description of Defect

  4. Location IDs - only for devices of:

    1. Star / Timing Star

    2. Monitor / Mini Monitor

    3. Virtual Divider

    4. Drop Box

  5. Spare Devices - only for devices of:

    1. Star / Timing Star

    2. Monitor / Mini Monitor

    3. Virtual Divider

    4. Drop Box

  6. Shipping Address

Expectations

The RMA’s are passed to our Real-Time Locating Configuration Team to handle the returns. For any questions on a previously submitted order, email RTLS-Orders@teletracking.com for assistance.
