How to create new requests for item transport jobs in Capacity IQ® Transport.
Steps
Logging In
Launch TeleTracking and input your User Login ID and Password. Click the Sign In button.
From the Care Support menu, click the TransportTracking ™ option.
Creating an Item Request
Click on the “Item Trans” icon in the toolbar.
The Item Transport Request form will appear.
Select Campus if applicable.
Select the Item type for transport.
Select the small magnifying glass to add the origin and/or destination.
Click on the following:
Enter the Location Name in the Search Text Field. Hint: Entering less text is best.
Click the Check All Box
Click the Click to Search button
In the Location Results section, click the desired location. The location will be highlighted in blue.
Click to Select Location. Your selected location will be added to the request.
If the patient association is required, use the small magnifying glass to search for the patient; perform the search by Last Name or other patient identifiers.
Select Job Status
Pending - An "on-demand" request for the item to be transported.
Possible - If the job does not need to be sent to the queue for dispatching immediately. Possible jobs will need to be manually released.
Appointment Date/Time - Select if the item will need to be transported at a specific future date and/or time.
Click Save and then Close. The request for the selected item will be created.
Item Job Status Type Definitions
Job Requests without a date or time assigned. Must be released (to pending status) or canceled.
Job Requests that are scheduled for a specific date and time. Will become pending automatically at the lead time of the job destination.
Job Requests that are currently in the queue and are waiting to be dispatched to a transport.
The transporter has been assigned to the request. The transporter is on the way to retrieve the item.
The transporter has entered a delay while they are dispatched. The item has yet to be moved.
The transporter is now moving the item to the destination.
The transporter has entered a delay while they are moving towards the destination.
The transporter has requested help. This will cause a delay as the transporter waits.
The transporter has reached the destination. The Job is finished.
The job Request has been canceled.
How To
Release a Possible Job — A Possible job exists for an item. Recommended Action: Release the possible job by clicking on the Possible Status (Poss) button and selecting Release.
Cancel a job — The job may be canceled any time prior to “In Progress.” To cancel, click on the status box of the job and select “Cancel” and select a cancellation reason if required.
NOTE: If the job is in an “In Progress” status, only the porter has the ability to cancel.
