How to get the bed status to change when a patient is moved from one bed to another within the same room.
Symptoms
Beds being changed to dirty or not going dirty when the patient is moved within the same room depending on which setting is unfavorable.
Solution
If you want a bed’s status to be set to dirty if a patient is moved from one bed to another within the same room OR they request a bed’s status to change to clean if a patient is moved from one bed to another within the same room, you will need to adjust the Dirty Bed on Intra-Room Transfer setting.
This setting is located under Admin Tool>Unit/Zone/Location Management>Units>Select the Unit. The ‘enabled’ button is in the third column and third row.
Disable the setting if transfers from one bed to another within the same room should set the location to clean.
Enable the setting if transfers from one bed to another within the same room should set the location to dirty.
