Viewing a Patient Transport Schedule (Transport History)
This feature is used by healthcare staff to view information about transport job requests associated with each patient. It exists to provide detailed transport history and ensure efficient patient movement within the healthcare facility. It is used when there is a need to track or review patient transport activities.

How Viewing a Patient Transport Schedule Works
Functionality
To view patient transport history, you need the appropriate permissions and an active TransportTracking™ application license for the campus where the selected unit is located. The required permissions include the Global TeleTracking Technologies Permissions-TransportTracking™ - Console Patients Tab permission. You can view patients with home or current locations within your membership, pending transport jobs within your membership, or no home locations if associated with campuses within your membership.
Membership and Permissions
Permissions Required: User May View Transports or User May Edit Transports.
Membership Criteria:
Home locations or current locations within your membership.
Pending transport jobs with origins or destinations within your membership.
No home locations for patients associated with campuses within your membership.
Search Criteria
Patients with admit dates or expected admit dates that are the current date and time or earlier, plus the configured number of hours before admit/expected admit.
Patients who meet the filter criteria selected in the Patient Filter.
Bed Restrictions
Only beds with the Show on Bedboard setting enabled in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component can appear in list views.
Membership Types
Fixed Membership: View information only about specific units included in your membership.
Variable Membership (Floater): Select units each time you sign in.
Workflows
Accessing the List View
Go to PatientTracking Portal > List Views > .
Go to Clinical Operations > PatientTracking Portal > Select the instance name > OR Custom Views icon > .
Click the tab for the list view.
Click the Custom Views icon > .
Select the units where the beds you want to view are located.
Click the magnifying glass icon to display the Unit dialog box.
In the Campus list, select a campus name to display a list of units.
Select the names of the units and place check marks next to them.
Click the Add > button to place the selected units in the list on the right side.
If needed, reorder the units by clicking and holding a unit, moving it to the correct position, and releasing.
Click Save.
Viewing Transport History
In the Transport Status column, click the transport job status (e.g., Pending) to display the Patient Transport History dialog box.
View the following information:
Status: Status of the transport job.
Job #: Identification code of the job.
Origin and Destination: Locations where the transport job begins and ends.
Travel Mode: Mode of travel for the job.
Trv Reqs: IVR IDs of the travel requirements.
Reason: Reason for cancellation, rescheduling, or delay.
Transporter: Transporter associated with the job.
StatusTime: Time the status took effect.
ApptTime: Date and time of the appointment if applicable.
Searching for a Patient
Complete Steps 1 and 2 in Viewing Patient Details, then click the patient name.
In the upper-right corner of the TransportTracking™ console, in the Patient Transport Schedule area, click the arrow and select to search for a patient by Last Name or Patient ID.
Type the patient's last name or entire identification number, then press Enter.
If multiple patients have the same last name, the Patient History Search page appears. Click the identification number of the appropriate patient to display the transport schedule.
Closing the Schedule
To close the schedule, click the Patients tab or go to TransportTracking™ > Patient List or Care Support > TransportTracking™ > Patients tab. If your health system is configured for multiple instances of the Capacity IQ® Solution, go to Care Support > TransportTracking™ > > Patients tab.
