Delay Job
Delay Jobs are used to track the status of EVS jobs on dirty beds, especially when they are placed in a delayed status. This feature is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient bed management.
Where you can find this feature: Delayed Beds History Report.
How Delay Jobs Work
Functionality
Delay Jobs are recorded in the system when an EVS job is started on a dirty bed and placed in delayed status.
Delayed jobs can be resumed.
The Delayed Beds History Report displays a list of Delayed Beds in a selected date range.
If information for a delayed job that has been resumed does not appear on the Delayed Beds History Report, ensure that the report was generated with a start date corresponding to when the bed was first marked as dirty.
If the bed has been in a dirty state for one or more days, the report date range must include the initial dirty status date.
Failure to set the correct date range will result in the delay job not appearing on the report.
