Permissions Required

You must have one of the following permissions to generate this report:

  • Run Any Report, Including Those That Reveal Patient Information

  • Run Only Reports That Do Not Reveal Patient Information

Purpose

The Delayed Beds History Report lists bed cleaning jobs that were delayed during the date range selected on the Report Criteria page. Information such as the bed identification code and abbreviation, the reason the bed cleaning job was delayed, and the bed cleaner who delayed the job appears.

Note: See About the Report Data for restrictions concerning users and beds that appear on the report.

Report Parameters

Criteria selected when the report was being generated appear under Report Parameters. An example is the name of the campus selected when the report was generated.

About the Report Data

  • Only delays that occurred during the date range selected on the Report Criteria page appear.

  • The user who generates the report can select a minimum and maximum delay threshold. Bed cleaning jobs that were delayed for less than the minimum threshold or more than the maximum threshold do not appear on the report. For example, if the minimum threshold is 3 minutes and the maximum threshold is 1 hour, then no bed cleaning jobs that were delayed for less than 3 minutes or for more than 1 hour appear on the report.

  • Only beds that are associated with BedTracking® and that are in units within the membership of the user who generated the report are included.

  • The Bed Cleaner Placing Delay column includes only bed cleaners whose base units are within a campus that includes the base unit of the user who generated the report.

  • The user who generates the report can select to group the data by bed cleaner, by bed status (such as Dirty), or by the reason for the delay (such as Patient in Room).
