Patient Attribute History report displays patients who have been discharged or expired the previous day
Patient Attribute History report unexpectedly displays patients who have been discharged the previous day.
Scenario:
You run a Patient Attribute History report from Standard Reports with a specified date range to include the current day.
Patients and the units they were associated with appear on the report for the date range
You expects that patients who are no longer at the facility as of the previous day should not appear on the report.
You expect to only have units and patients (with patient attributes) for the current day.
Solution
A patient will continue to display on the Patient Attribute History Report until the patient attribute is removed. Once the patient attribute has been removed and the report is run the next day, the patient will no longer be displayed on the report.
With version 2020.11, logic has been added to end attributes upon discharge.
