By the Hours Weekly (by Job) Report Description

Permissions Required

You must have one of the following permissions to generate this report:

  • Run Any Report, Including Those That Reveal Patient Information

  • Run Only Reports That Do Not Reveal Patient Information

Purpose

The By the Hours Weekly (by Job) report displays the number of bed cleaning jobs that were requested for each hour on each day of the week during the date range selected on the Report Criteria page. The report also displays grand totals and averages for each day for all weeks included on the report.

Note: See About the Report Data for restrictions concerning jobs and beds that appear on the report.

Report Parameters

Criteria selected when the report was being generated appear under Report Parameters. An example is the name of the campus selected when the report was generated.

About the Report Data

  • Only jobs for beds in units that are within the membership of the user who generated the report appear.

  • If specific unclean statuses (such as Dirty or Clean Next) were selected on the Report Criteria page, then only jobs that were in those statuses when the bed cleaning job was created are included. If no specific statuses were selected, then bed cleaning jobs for beds that were in all unclean statuses are included.

  • Only bed cleaning jobs that users requested are included. Found beds are not included.

  • The report includes only bed cleaning job requests that occurred between the dates selected and during the shifts selected on the Report Criteria page.

  • Only new requested jobs are included. Upgraded and downgraded jobs are not included in totals or in averages. For example, if a bed had a status of Dirty when the cleaning job was created and the bed was later upgraded to Stat, this is counted in the totals and averages as one job.

  • Adjusted bed cleaning jobs are included only if that type of adjustment was selected on the report criteria page. The user who generates the report can include any of the following:

    • Adjusted Minimum—Bed cleaning jobs where the clean time is less than the minimum clean time established in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component.

    • Adjusted Maximum—Bed cleaning jobs where the clean time is more than the maximum clean time established in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component.

    • Adjusted Max Response—Bed cleaning jobs where the original response time is more than the maximum clean time established in the Admin Tool or Admin > Settings > Capacity Management component.

By the Hours Weekly by Job Section Descriptions

Grid

The grid in the first section of the report displays each day of the week at the top and each hour of the day on the side. The number of new bed cleaning job requests during each hour for each day of the week within the date range selected appears. For example, if the date range of the report spans two weeks and Row 0 displays 7 under Monday, then during the first hour of Monday for those two weeks 7 bed cleaning jobs were requested.

Grand Totals

The Grand Totals section displays for unit or for campus, depending on what was selected on the Report Criteria page:

  • Totals—Total jobs requested for each day of the week for all weeks during the selected date range.

  • Avg—Average number of jobs requested for each day for all weeks included in the date range. For example, if data for units is displayed, the date range of the report spans two weeks, and there were 7 job requests on Sunday of the first week and 5 on Sunday of the following week, then 6 appears in the Avg row for Sunday.
