What are User Privileges

Privileges determine what users can do in the Clinical Workflow® Suite (CWS)


Editing Privileges for User

  • Determine what Role the user has assigned to their account in Clinical Workflow® Suite.

  • Pull up Staff > Find/Edit Staff…

  • Search the user in question and click on Roles within the user account.

  • The next window will show which Role(s) the user has associated with their account.


View and Add Privileges for User’s Role

  • Navigate to Admin > Admin Lists… > Roles…

  • Find the Role and select Edit

  • Under the Role, you will see an option for Privileges.

  • Click on Privileges and this will bring up the next page where you can see what current Privileges are selected for the Role.

    • On this screen, you will be able to Add/Remove from the Role.

  • Selecting Privilege under Available: will allow you to select 'Add'

Select Privilege under Selected: will allow you to select ‘Remove’

  • Once you have Added/Removed the Privilege you can either hit Save or Save & Close.
