About

Notifications are not being received by devices or screen alerts not working.

Solution

  • If you have access to the Production server, you can restart the following services:

    • XT Notification - Used to process and send notification emails

    • XT Employee Notification - This service is used to process employee notifications.

    • XT Subscription-Based Notification - This service is used to process subscription-based notifications

  • If you do not have access to the Production Server you can reach out to your internal Teletracking admin, Help Desk, or Server Admin. They will be able to get connected and restart the services mentioned above.

  • If restarting the services does not resolve the notification issue, you will need to check the following:

  • Check notification history under BedTracking or TransportTracking. Where you check will depend on who is supposed to receive the notifications.

  • Check the Success column. If it shows No or an error, it means the Vendor message was unsuccessful.

  • Messages are successfully delivered to the vendor from TeleTracking, from there it would be the responsibility of the vendor to send the notifications to the devices.

  • You will need to get in contact with the Vendor.

  • If it is one device, make sure the device is active with the vendor, and that the device has been added to Device Management.
