Lost Badge Report Description

Permissions

You must have the PreAdmitTracking® application permission called Run Any Report, Including Those That Reveal Patient Information to generate this report.

Purpose

The Lost Badge report shows details about missing patient badges and the patients to which they were attached. This report is available only if the Capacity IQ® Solution is integrated with the TeleTracking Real-Time Locating System™. A badge is considered missing if it has not reported any information to the TeleTracking Real-Time Locating System™ for at least the amount of time selected when the report is generated (either 1 week or 1 day).

Report Parameters

Criteria selected when the report was being generated appear under Report Parameters. An example is the name of the campus selected when the report was generated.

About the Report Data

  • Only badges associated with patients that have been discharged appear on the report.

  • The report runs against the Production database.

Lost Badge Report Column Descriptions

The following information appears on the report.

Column

Description

Unit

The unit of the patient's home location.

Badge ID

The badge ID of the missing badge.

Patient Name

Last name and first name of the badged patient.

Visit Number

Visit Number of the badged patient.

Patient's Home Location

The name of the patient's home location.

Badge Last Seen Location

The last reported location of the badge. Starting in version 2017.1, Patient Tracking and Staff Tracking licenses are required to use the Last Seen/Care in Progress feature. A TeleTracking representative can help your organization to obtain licenses.

Last Seen Date

The last recorded date and time that the badge was seen by a beacon.
