This Quick Reference Guide (QRG) provides step-by-step instructions Adding and Editing Patient Attributes. This function is performed by the System Admin for TeleTracking. Following these steps will facilitate data flowing to Data IQ® for reporting on COVID-19 specific dashboards.
Steps
Adding Patient Attributes
Patient attributes will need to be added, if not already present, to support fields in Data IQ® related to:
COVID-19 PUI (Patient Under Investigation)
COVID-19 Confirmed
Ventilator Intervention
Adding Covid-19 PUI (Patient Under Investigation)
If using the Operations IQ® Platform – select Admin > Settings > Capacity Management Settings > Dictionary Management > Patient Attribute
If using Capacity IQ® - select Admin Tab > Dictionary Management > Patient Attribute
NOTE: The steps that follow are the same for both environments.
Select Add
Select Category: Organism
Name: Covid-19 PUI
Acceptable Alternatives For “Covid-19”: Cov19, Covid19, Covid 19
Acceptable Alternatives For “PUI”: Pending, Pend, Screening, Screen, Suspect, Suspected
ADT Tag Name: Leave Blank
ADT Tag Value: Leave Blank
Show on bedboard: Enabled
Bedboard Character: (Choose a character that is not being used, such as P)
Cell: Select 1-5
Show as a Column: Enabled
Enable Display Icon: Choose from icons created
Disable Display Icon: Leave blank
Save
Adding Covid - 19 Confirmed
If using the Operations IQ® Platform – select Admin > Settings > Capacity Management Settings > Dictionary Management > Patient Attribute
If using Capacity IQ® - select Admin Tab > Dictionary Management > Patient Attribute

Acceptable alternatives for “Covid-19”: Cov19, Covid19, Covid 19
Acceptable alternatives for “Confirmed”: +, Pos, Positive
ADT Tag Name: Leave Blank
ADT Tag Value: Leave Blank
Show on bedboard: Enabled
Bedboard Character: (Choose a character that is not being used, such as P)
Cell: Select 1-5
Show as a Column: Enabled
Enable Display Icon: Choose from icons created
Disable Display Icon: Leave blank
Adding Ventilator Intervention

Name: Ventilator
Acceptable alternatives to “Ventilator”: Vent, Ventilate, Vent Patient
ADT Tag Name: Leave blank
ADT Tag Value: Leave blank
Show on bedboard: Enabled
Bedboard Character: (Choose a character that is not being used, such as V)
Cell: Select 1-5
Show as a Column: Enabled
Enable Display Icon: Choose from icons created
Disable Display Icon: Leave blank

Adding Bed Attributes
Bed attributes will need to be added, if not already present, to support fields in Data IQ® related to:
Negative Air Pressure
Near Nurse Station
Adding Negative Air Pressure
If using the Operations IQ® Platform – select Admin > Settings > Capacity Management Settings > Dictionary Management > Patient Attribute
If using Capacity IQ® - select Admin Tab > Dictionary Management > Patient Attribute

Adding Near Nurse Station

Bed and patient Attributes can be edited simply by updating fields
